Half term is here again and outside it is especially chilly with nothing much to do during the month of February. We were delighted to attend a pizza making workshop with Firezza and experience how to make proper pizza using fresh ingredients and taught by a very experienced pizza chef.
On arrival, we were offered a selection of wine and champagne with oven baked garlic bread and pots of mozzarella with green leafed basil drizzled in rich olive oil. The team at Firezza introduced themselves and were kitted out in chef whites ready to demonstrate how to make a tasty pizza. The girls were entertained whilst the chef flung flour across the table and rolled the pizza dough making a face with ears! Our children had the chance to roll their own dough, decorate their pizzas and then once transported to the oven on authentic wooden pizza slabs, the total cooking time was just two minutes and forty seconds! Perfect for hungry kids wanting to eat. We were treated to a selection of pizza’s from Firezza topped with an abundance of culinary treats and colors chosen by our children. Gluten free bases were provided for guests with allergies and cooked in a separate part of the fire baking oven.
