We have been taking our new baby born every where and really testing out the durability of this little soft dolly. Olivia loves to cuddle with her, feed her and take her for walks but the best thing about this dolly is that she can be bathed. We have only just discovered dollies and last Christmas I absolutely declined to purchase a baby bath that Olivia begged me for every time we took a visit to our local garden centre. So although we had a new baby born bath time dolly to play with well we didn’t and don’t actually have a bath. So Olivia and Baby born take their baths together. Olivia had just reached that stage where she is refusing to take a bath so Baby born bathing fun has come into our lives at just the right time!
Thinking about a Pre School
I grew up in one of those small towns where everyone knows each other. I came back here to have my Daughter. My mum is here and all three of my sisters are close. My friends are here and now they all have babies too.
I start a new job soon and as a first time mum was disappointed to see how overcrowded all the nurseries were. I had been hearing horror stories from fellow mums about how their kids had picked up bad habits or were not given the care they were entitled to because of low staff numbers.
How to transfer a toddler from a cot to a bed.
My little lady is nearly two now and i am beginning to think it may be time to transfer her to a toddler bed.
We already have a cot that is ready to convert.
On holiday recently i let her share our bed as she was so cramped and uncomfortable in a travel cot, even with lots of luxurious padding. Our Daughter is also now at the age where she is willing to go and spend a night away at her Nanny’s house or with one of her Aunties as she is very close to them and i would love a night off from Mummy hood. We travel a lot so really need to get this milestone under wraps before our next holiday!
I know i will need to purchase a bed rail and put a stair gate on her bedroom door but does anyone else have any tips or advice for me?
