One of my favourite things to do is create Table settings using fresh flowers. Today I am digging out some images from a collection of the table designs that I have laid this spring. All of the flowers or greenery have been grown and picked here in my garden. I love to collect napkins, mismatched crockery, and table wear to entertain my guests with. I hope you get to enjoy your garden this coming summer and take inspiration from my Table settings using fresh flowers
The first flowerings of the year were from spring tulips, blossom trees and an advanced Hydrangea plant. I filled plain white jugs and laid them down the centre of the dining table using a colour pallet of pale pinks and yellow. By Easter, we were matching our egg cups with the cuttings we had picked from the garden for a special holiday breakfast. I am hoping to see another show of buds from my Hydrangea this year as they are typically a summer flower.
