My Daughter just turned six and in a true creative style, asked for pineapples and flamingos to feature in the decor for her big day. I took lots of photographs and had a great time throwing this birthday party together. Today in this post, I am sharing my Tips on styling a tropical themed party.
It was the menu that inspired me to use an array of bright colours and after deciding to serve raw, fresh organic fruit and veg then everything else just fell into place. My theme has a very sweet story behind it and I actually made use of a lot of props that I already had. By serving fruit and veg meant that the base of my menu was suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans. Along with crudites, I served frozen watermelon and pineapple chunks, Orange wedges and popcorn. We also had a side dish of crispy potato waffles.
