We have been taking our new baby born every where and really testing out the durability of this little soft dolly. Olivia loves to cuddle with her, feed her and take her for walks but the best thing about this dolly is that she can be bathed. We have only just discovered dollies and last Christmas I absolutely declined to purchase a baby bath that Olivia begged me for every time we took a visit to our local garden centre. So although we had a new baby born bath time dolly to play with well we didn’t and don’t actually have a bath. So Olivia and Baby born take their baths together. Olivia had just reached that stage where she is refusing to take a bath so Baby born bathing fun has come into our lives at just the right time!
I am excited to be taking part in the Living Arrows project this year and displaying one photo per week that i think captures a memory of my little girls childhood.
We are always out and about armed with our camera so here is a shot from one of our family walks this week.
Olivia loved the sound of the frosty grass under her bright pink wellington boots and gave me a beautiful twig as a present. Olivia collects twigs for me a lot….
With Christmas just around the corner it was about time i persuaded Olivia to put on a Christmas outfit and strike a pose for her greeting card photo this year. As any Mother knows, trying to get that perfect photograph in between cleaning, cooking, answering the phone and generally being a busy mum is like trying to get blood from a stone. Olivia decided she wanted to be a tiger. So be it.
40 odd photos later we finally got one – only because i used chocolate as bribery virtually stuck to the lens. See how i captured her beautiful stare?!
