If you’re a dog owner and believe that you’re living up to the responsibilities that come along with being one by taking the utmost care of your dog, showering them with love and buying them everything they need to thrive and be happy, then think again!
For this year’s Earth Day, I wanted to remind all dog owners out there that just like you have a responsibility of taking the best possible care of your dog so they live a healthy and happy life, you also have the responsibility of ensuring that the life your dog lives on Earth leaves as little negative impact on the environment as possible.
Believe it or not, a lot of the dog food you may be feeding your precious one, toys you may be buying for them to play with, accessories you may be making use of on a day to day basis and just general practices you’ve grown used to as a dog owner for years now may be causing the environment around you severe harm.
For this reason and honoring this year’s Earth Day, I decided to feature “The Green Dog Owner” infographic designed by Ultimatehomelife.com, which explains the 14 easy ways any dog owner can help preserve the environment around them†and minimize their dog’s “carbon paw prints”.
Many resources out there on the internet will suggest you buy some fancy shmancy equipment and accessories for your dog that cost a fortune just so you can be considered an eco-friendly dog owner,†while others will request that you perform one too many daily activities that will sooner rather than later take their toll on you and have you call it quits.
That’s why I’m sharing this infographic today, to spread the message that it doesn’t have to be very complicated and, as a matter of fact, a ton of difference can be done with just simple changes here and there, changes that people may very well spend a lifetime without having ever thought about.
