Yes it is officially Autumn but it doesn’t quite yet feel it, my garden is still blooming full of yellow and pinks whilst everyone else seems to be raving about Orange hues and berries.
We took Olivia for a walk to our local woods at the weekend to see if we could forage some Autumn goodies. Unfortunately we failed and only grabbed a handful of slightly dishevelled heather which i have tried to straighten up and used for this project. The berries are from our garden bush and we have been growing tons of mini sunflowers ourselves.
I had a tip off from a fellow blogger that Hobby craft are selling wreath rings for a pound so i rushed down to stock up.
I also bought some floristry tape as usually i use wire and i now think i have found a new love, tape is so much easier to work with.
Wreaths really are quite simple as long as you have the right tools. So before i start work on an Autumn wreath i thought i would treat my family to something pretty for the front door.
I have saved my other wreath ring for a special project i will be working on for the lovely ladies at Laura Ashley HQ. Check out the fun i had at their recent press event here.
Enjoy petal xx
