As we draw to the end of another year I am pleased to not follow the blogging trend and publish a Christmas gift guide on my website.
Amongst the Christmas cheer and wrapping paper i would rather see an array of books and warm clothes rather than plastic toys that warrant bounding us inside the house all day.
Since spring I have been writing about my garden and sharing posts of fresh air and sunshine with my readers. I have also had some fantastic opportunities to copy write articles for gardening companies. And of course who can forget the publicity that my she shed brought to my lovely little blog.
So this Christmas as usual we will be out and about. Foraging for holly and scented plants to place on our wreaths with wagon in tow. Trundling through the woods In wellies searching for fairies and elves and making the most of our frost covered garden.
Although everything is packed away for the winter there is still so much to do out there. Racking up the last of the fallen leaves and preparing the green house for the spring. Protecting and bedding plants from forth coming winter spells. And moving our rabbit hutch somewhere with a little more shelter for the colder months.
This Christmas we have sourced an amazing gift for our Daughter.
A personalised mud kitchen from the London Mud kitchen company.
At present the kitchen is stored nearly in my shed and fits perfectly with the Laura Ashley decor! In fact I love the hand made kitchen so much that I almost do not want to tell my Three year old that it is for mud.
The kitchen comes complete with steel mixing bowls and spatulas of all kinds. It is the perfect height for my pre schooler and everything is accessible along with storage areas for her mixing equipment. I am really excited to show Olivia her new kitchen.
I feel really humble knowing that my Daughters gift came from a craftsman who has a family of his own and takes pride in his work. Purchasing from a family run business really does make our gift to her seem so much more personal.
You can check out the London mud kitchen company for yourself here and if you are feeling too snug to brave the cold then be sure to order and enquire in advance for the spring time. These guys have become extremely popular over the past year with their home made mud kitchens.
We were gifted this kitchen from friends and I love their product so much that I wanted to feature our kitchen in my blog.
