Our wedding day is slowly approaching and there is not a day that goes by when something wedding related needs tending to. Luckily i have my trusted bridal party to call upon and can rely on them for any help i may need. I have chosen my dress and luckily they all approve! But really the whole event was just an excuse to get together for lunch and bubbles.
It does not go unnoticed amongst my love ones that i am a huge fan of champagne and my best friend shares my passion too which means there is always an excuse for an exquisite get together. Whilst browsing the Laura Ashley Christmas selection i spotted a selection of gorgeous glass ware which persuaded me to plan my next get together with my maids. It occurred to me recently that i had not made a personal proposal to my chosen ladies and so i will be hosting a night of champagne cocktails and giggles with the girls.
The champagne glasses are just stunning and i plan to add lots of sparkle by using diamante lined glass table coasters and mats. The friendship bracelets will double up as wine charms and wrap around the bottom of the wine glass and obviously the cocktail stirrers will be compatible with the Christmas season which is when i will be hosting my proposal party!
Did you host or are you planning on a proposal party?
If you would like to create my theme then you can find my chosen items on the Laura Ashley website. In the mean time i shall leave you with a recipe for one of my finest champagne cocktails!
You will need:
Several chilled bottles of good quality champagne.
One punnet of fresh raspberries
Four peaches, pureed and frozen.
Spoon a little frozen peach puree into the bottom of each glass and top with fizz. Use raspberries to decorate and serve the perfect peach bellini.
