This year for the first time I invested in a few sets of packing cubes. Packing cubes are fabric zipped containers with a mesh layer to help keep your suitcase organised. I have found ours to be really useful and have Color coordinated bags for each member of the family. The smaller cubes can be transferred straight from suitcase to drawer.
2. Store suitcases
There is always a clear section under the bed to store bags and suitcases. I have been transferring used laundry items into our cases to free up wanted space.
This year I packed a Tupperware container. It slides perfectly into the bathroom cabinet and is a great little tub for compacting my travel creams and hair accessories. I prefer to keep toiletries together rather than thrown to the back of the drawer.
4. Take hangers
Although onboard we have always been provided with plenty of hangers, I always struggle to hang my Daughters pretty attire. This trip I have packed her child size hangers and doubled up on clothes hanging!
5. Clear facilities.
Every cabin is provided with tea/ coffee facilities. Personally we prefer to collect our own hot drinks from the cafe or lounges and the only item we use is the kettle to sterilise baby bottles or warm our Daughters milk at bedtime. We asked for extra cups and saucers to be removed which left me a clear surface to use as a make up table.
If you are a new or seasoned cruiser then I hope you found my space saving tips useful.
