Ways to save …. Time
Time is so precious isn’t it?
I honestly thought that when my Daughter started nursery I would have a luxurious three hours everyday to carry out my daily chores or maybe have some time to myself.
Between running a home, a blog and a business it seems life has been busier than usual. So in this post I am going to share my top 3 tips that saves me a little bit of time when doing the house work each week.
That’s right keeping a squidgy in the shower means I can give the shower door and screens a quick wipe down after I have had my wash. This means a sparkly shower and hours of saving time and energy trying to disperse of dreaded lime scale stains.
Duvets in pillow cases.
I love to change my sheets every 7-10 days and we also have an ever changing guest room full of visitors so there is not a week that goes by without used (dirty just sounds wrong) sheets filling the wash basket.
After ironing a set of sheets I place the bottom sheet, duvet cover and spare pillow case neatly folded into a pillowcase. This keeps sheets neat and tidy and is also a great space saver.
Cleaning the table, dinner mats and drinks coasters is the Bain of my life! Especially with a messy Three year old. I now keep a pack of wipes in the cupboard along with dinner ware to ensure a quick wipe down after everyone has eaten. This keeps our dining area fresh and ready for the next serving.
I hope my tips come in handy.
Can you recommend a cleaning hack to save me extra time?
