This year we have been camping many times with friends and family. We even hosted a family camping festival in our garden and we camped with fellow bloggers at Holmsley campsite in the New Forest.
The great thing about camping is that you as long as you have all the relevant equipment you can more or less book a pitch last minute. CITF have a great app via their website which can help you choose and recommend which website would be most suited for your family. The link is also mobile friendly which enables you to search on the go as long as you have signal. Most CITF sites welcome pets and from my research i have seen that CITF offer locations in England, Scotland and Wales. Lots in the New Forest.
For research purposes i tested the App lots of times and selected a mixture of different questions and answers. There are 16 different locations to choose from in 6 different forests.
Here is a small preview of some of the questions from the decision tree….
There are eight questions in total and the whole process takes less than a minute.
It is August already and unfortunately the weather has not been as kind as we would have liked. Last year saw a very sunny Halloween making it the warmest day in October on record. We are hoping for another spell of sunshine during the October half term and may even squeeze a few days camping during the next school break!
Whether you a novice or beginner there are plenty of tips and some great reading over on Camping In The Forest website!
We have enjoyed many camping trips at several Camping In The Forest locations and it is a pleasure to be able to share our experience of the decision tree on MyModelMummy.com
