If you are a regular reader you will know how i love all things Moroccan. My first taste of mint tea was at Richards posh place in Marrakesh. Kasbah Tamadot.
Mint tea has many benefits. It reduces gas, bloating, nausea and helps abdominal and menstrual cramps.It can help headaches, relieves lung and sinus congestion and also helps asthma. It stimulates the mind yet also has a calming effect.
The Fiance makes the tea in our house and i have witnessed his handy skills many times. The best bits are the oils contained within the leaves so a good trick is to simply rub the leaves and stems between your palms before placing them in a tea pot. Add boiling water and leave to sit for around five minutes. Your tea is then ready.
Well being starts from the inside and one little change can make all the difference.
