As my regular readers will know i am a complete juice addict.
When Abel and Cole asked me to review a fruit and veg box i knew instantly that i would make good use of their product.
The day the delivery arrived was rather exciting, we have all seen the fabulous Abel and cole vans and this time it was parked outside our house. The timing of our delivery was perfect, i am a manic juicer, my toddler loves to eat fruit and we had just got a new house rabbit who loves the odd slice of apple!
Just as i had suspected the fruit and veg were fresh and lasted for nearly a week. A box full of organic goodness kept us going through numerous juices, snacks and odd bits for the rabbit! I cooked with the veg and used the ginger and lemon to make up different types of healthy juices.
A product that i really adore was also included in the box.
Spirulina is a blue-green micro-algae that nourished the Aztec civilization. Due to its very high content of Vitamin B complex, iron and antioxidants it strengthens your body in times of stress. Spirulina helps maintain a healthy heart and nervous system. It supports the immune system, concentration and memory. It is a rich source of protein (64%), vitamin E, beta-carotene and chlorophyll. Completely pure, natural and easily digestible, spirulina is a far superior alternative to synthetic supplements.
Organic Burst® Spirulina is grown organically in clean freshwater ponds, free of toxins, chemicals or pesticides.
I add a spoonful of spirulina to my juice every morning now and i can definately feel the benefits. This is a miracle powder and it helps to give me the natural kick start that i need every day.
Juicing boxes start from £13.50 and a tub of spirulina will cost £10.99
Personally i think the juicing box from Abel and Cole is well eorth the money. The fruit and veg lasted a whole week and i didnt even have to leave the house.
*I was sent a Abel & Cole juicing box to review and all opinions are honest and my own*
