Cheeky wipes review
When I met the cheeky wipes team at the Baby show I jumped at the chance to review their product.
I had seen the cloths previously owned by a friend and considered transferring from baby wipes back then. Now I wish I had converted sooner because in my opinion they are a firm favorite must have for any nappy bag.
Presentation deserves a mention as the cloths are presented in a selection of boxes along with two fragranced lotions. Both baby friendly. Also supplied are three bags. One for laundering used cloths and two separate waterproof bags for clean and mucky wipes. I like the genius idea of waterproof pouches as they slip into my changing bag nicely, make no mess and take up a lot less room then a packet of disposable wipes.
Back to the boxes (I do like a box!).
The kit contains two plastic water tight tubs. One for soaking clean wipes in the lotion provided and one for storing dirty wipes. I was so impressed with the size of the boxes that on our recent cruise I doubled up it’s versatility options and used one to soak my baby’s bottles in too! Cruise ships provide little sterilizing facilities so luckily I had my cheeky wipes kit along with a few sterilizing tablets.
The cloths are soft but durable and work a treat. Thicker than disposable baby wipes, lighter and great for the environment.
I will never travel without cheeky wipes again and I definitely will not miss disposable wipes.
I was astonished to calculate how much money I used to spend on wipes per year. Over £400. A tub of cheeky wipes sets you back £30. That’s a very big saving, a happy mummy and a clean toddler. Winner!
