Avocado and Salmon
You will need:
1 small avocado
1 small piece of salmon
I love to entertain and if I throw a dinner party during the day or early evening it is only fair that Olivia join us to eat. If we are eating something special then why shouldn’t she?! I love to give Olivia both salmon and avocado because fish contains lots of omega 3 fats which are great brain food for babies. I use a steamer for this recipe. I always ask the fishmonger for a small portion of boneless and skinless salmon and steam it for 20 minutes. All steamers vary so follow cooking guidelines on yours.
Slice a ripe avocado in half and remove the pulp. Score into cubes then squeeze from the skin directly into the blender. Once the salmon is ready, leave to cool and add to the blender also. To smooth the mixture I always add a small drop of milk or boiled water.
Section into pots and freeze for up to one month. Remember to date the lids!
